PSA 7 NM graded Balloon Pikachu (No. 25) from the 1997 Japanese CoroCoro Comics glossy promo run, illustrated by Toshinao Aoki. Basic Lightning-type Pikachu (40 HP, Lv. 12) with Denki Shock for 10 damage, which paralyzes the Defending Pokémon on heads, and Sora o Tobu (Fly) for 30, which prevents all effects of the next attack unless the coin comes up tails. Unusually it carries no weakness at all and instead has Fighting resistance -30, which the flavour text explains as a Pikachu that overcame its own weakness by taking to the air. Cannot evolve into Raichu. Japanese-language card with the original Pocket Monsters back. PSA cert #101088874. Authentic, sealed in original PSA case.
